Comm - ing monsters - discussion
I do not know whether this is the right place to discuss this.. but anyway, choice of comm-ing of fish species is dependent on mutual predation, size, hardness of water, pH suitability, temp, depth layers etc.Just like can comm neon tetra with pbs? Sturgeon with snakeheads, altum angels with aros, rays with loaches etc. Above is a NO for all these combinations in general. Because they conflict.
So is it a good idea to take the south American river predator dorado mix with the Egyptian Nile perch with the African tigers and the American gars and the amazon armatus put together in a small tank expecting it to work out?
Like mixing a tiger with a lion and jaguar Leopard panther cheetah hyena bear polar bear crocodile komodo lizard and expect them to live in peace in a small place.
I think choice is important. variety is good but have to be carefully thought out. Comments?

End of the day may be a waste of money submitting poor animals to undue stress and a slow death.
>Agreed. But maybe with a bigger tank or more hidding spot?
>Lions live in a pride. They are social animals. Females hunt. They collectively take care of cubs. Cheetahs live solitary lives. They are smaller than lions and are attacked by leopards and lions. Tigers live in the tropics with green trees. Their temperature, humidity is different from the dessert. They like water. Komodos scavenge for food. Croc scavenge in the waters. Polar bears need a cold tempo survive and is adept at breaking ice to catch seals.
What I am saying is have to make it right for all to live in harmony. This is difficult to achieve with such a huge variety.
